Fall is in full swing and so is Vancouver!

The colourful fall foliage is surprisingly still vibrant in many areas of the city even with the approach of winter, yet there’s a definite sense of optimism and a renewed exuberance happening in downtown Vancouver.

Although social distancing and masking in public buildings continue to be strongly observed, it seems the cadence of life in the centre of the city has returned with gusto. Restrictions on crowd capacities particularly in sporting venues, bars & restaurants, as well as theatres have for the most part been completely lifted now that vaccine passports are necessary for admittance, which is good news for theatre goers, diners and sports fans.

Public spaces are operating at full capacity and just in time for the upcoming festive season. There’s plenty of excitement now that the city is gearing up for craft fairs, Christmas markets and plenty of holiday cheer; now is the perfect time to visit or revisit many of the top-rated attractions in the downtown area; nearly all within walking distance (or within one or two stops via Canada Line) of The Auberge!
