2021 was a tumultuous year filled with challenges from the pandemic and though we are still facing a degree of uncertainty, it’s our resilience, adaptability and positive outlook that will help with our recovery from it. Downtown Vancouver is helping to make spirits bright with eye-catching outdoor fresh floral installations to help bring some holiday cheer. Statues dressed in ribbons and roses, cars bedecked with a carpet of blossoms, and boughs of holly and ivy decorating store fronts and and bus stops add a fabulously festive air. What’s more, there are spectacular light installations in the whimsical shapes of flora and fauna adorning the beach front at English Bay. Catch Barclay the Beaver, the latest light creation along with Luna the Whale, Stanley the Heron and others which will be on display through to the new year.
